Ah, the beautiful game! However you refer to it, soccer demands the most of its athletes–be it of their minds, their hearts, or their legs. But, like any worthwhile muse, it also offers the sweetest of rewards: often encapsulated in the flashing moment when a cross skips along the six-yard box, past an aimless defender, and lands squarely on your swinging boot! Woop woop!
HC United has competed in the Metro Soccer League for at least the last three years. The games take place at Pier 40 (where West Houston meets the West Side Highway). The team plays year-round; though, in the winter we meet either for casual kick-arounds or sign-up for an indoor league. Visit the link above for more information about the league and venue.
